Diagnosis: Biliary leak
Full history:
The patient is status post liver transplant, and is having
abdominal pain following pulling of the T-tube.
Radiopharmaceutical:
Tc-99m Mebrofenin
Findings:
Progressive accumulation of tracer is seen below the liver
in an abnormal distribution. This pattern of activity does
not correspond to the expected configuration of the gallbladder.
No definite tracer is seen to pass into bowel.
Discussion:
This finding indicates a bile leak.
