Special Studies Available

• Radioimmunoscintigraphy (monoclonal antibody imaging) with In-111 capromab pendetide (Prostascint®) for evaluation of patients with prostate cancer
• Positron emission tomography (PET) with F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) for imaging of tumors in patients with cancer
• PET with FDG, as well as single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) with Tc-99m bicisate (Neurolite®) for imaging of patients with epilepsy in whom treatment by surgery is being considered
• Imaging with I-123 iobenguane (MIBG) and In-111 pentetreotide (Octreoscan®) for detection of various types of neuroendocrine tumors (pheochromocytomas, neuroblastomas, pancreatic islet cell tumors, carcinoid tumors)
• Sentinel lymph node mapping in patients with malignant melanoma and breast cancer
