Diagnosis: Avulsion fracture of the iliac apophysis.
Full history:
15-year-old girl with history
of a fall on the left hip several months ago
while playing softball. She has persistent pain.
Radiographs and MRI were reportedly normal.
Radiopharmaceutical:
19.9 mCi Tc-99m
MDP i.v.
Findings:
There is increased activity in
the left iliac crest in the region of the iliac
